Is it possible to make money doing what you love? An Experiment in Alignment
“What if I built a life where I didn’t need to be organized or productive?”
This was a lightning bolt moment of realization for me.
Is it possible to do just what I loved in life? All the evidence seemed to suggest not.
This is Part 2 of a train of thought that I’ve been having these last few weeks. You can read this article as a stand-alone but for more context, Part 1 is here: “Building a Second Brain… and why I didn’t”.
In the most basic sense, this means focusing on the things that make me happy.
It also means minimizing the frenetic and wasteful activity, that had previously taken up a lot of time and caused a lot of stress, in a vain attempt to live up to society's infinite standards.
When it comes to money, the goal is to do something I love (alignment) whilst actively fighting the needless complexity creep inherent in modern life and business (simplicity).
This is my journey.
