3 really obvious tips for lifting weights (that you’re probably not doing)
I’ve been lifting for over 2 decades from bicep curls in my bedroom as a teenager to working in a gym through my early 20s to eventually competing as both a strongman and bodybuilder (not at the same time ;).
This is not to brag but just to say that I know a few things about lifting.
As with most areas in life, it has taken me this long to be able to simplify lifting and identify (and share) the key points for success.

1) Don’t wear running shoes when training legs
An easy fix — take them off. You can either wear flat shoes with no cushioning or heel or take your shoes off and lift in socks.
